Biological behaviors has a controversial argument between nature vs nurture. These two differentiate the way people develop. Nature refers to the way genetics influence a person's personality, while Nurture argues that the environment a person lives in influences their personality. Another important thing to know is the brain plays a major role in biological behaviors.
Cognition Pillar
Cognition is the thoughts, perspective, and expectations when it comes to psychology. There are five parts when it comes to cognition including knowing, remembering, understanding, communication, and learning. An important factor when it comes to cognition and how are brain process thoughts is memory. Memories are stored in a variety of ways such as sensory memory, working/short-term memory, and long-term memory storage.
